First signed by Universal Records in April 2007, the members of BLAKE have now been singing together around the world for over 10 years; we think this deserves a little celebration! This Spring, the trio will launch their 7th studio CD “The Anniversary Album”, followed by their largest UK tour to date…
Back with their original classical-crossover sound, Humphrey, Ollie & Stephen are delighted to be releasing an album which has been ten years in the making. Joining forces with the Central Band of the RAF and members of the Military Wives Choirs, BLAKE have been able to create a soaring classical CD with full orchestra, beautiful choral accompaniment and their legendary harmony vocals linking it all together. With repertoire chosen from the worlds of opera, musical theatre & contemporary songs, this album spans the many musical worlds that BLAKE adore performing in their live stage shows. Proceeds from the sale of this album (via PledgeMusic.com) will also go to the RAF charitable trust, to ensure that servicemen and women are supported in the best way possible, whilst the next generation are given the encouragement & skills required to become the pilots and technicians of tomorrow.
Whilst enjoying BLAKE’s voices via their new album is encouraged, we would also recommend that you take the opportunity to see them live on stage if you haven’t already. The trio have performed over 700 concerts in the last 10 years, in the UK, Europe, Japan, Australia, China, Russia and the United States. The group’s 2018 tours (in the Spring & Autumn) will take in over 40 of their favourite venues, both large and intimate, followed by a Christmas tour in December. Looking forward to the new cd & concert tour. Lots of dates at venues still to go on the list I guess as I have tickets for theatres not shown on website. Hope they go on soon for all fans to be aware! These boys need our support.

Tour poster looks great & they all look so smart & happy. Cannot wait to hear the new songs from the new cd although I do not much like the proposed new album cover “fields of gold” . They are not smiling & it does not depict their classiness & smart appearance like the tour poster does. This is only my personal opinion & obviously seems to differ from what a lot of their fans think.

Have pre-ordered the new album but disappointed no dates in or close to Shropshire this year to be able to hear the new songs live in concert. Real shame!
