BLAKE – Live in Session – On BBC Radio 2 with Sir Terry Wogan

Performing live-in-session on the UK’s no.1 radio station is a massive honour for any British band, but to be interviewed afterwards by broadcasting legend Sir Terry Wogan is really something special. Humphrey, Stephen and Ollie will be joined by their pianist, Martin ‘Blister-Tips’ Riley, for a very special live show…

Over the weeks leading up to this special one-off appearance, the boys have been working on some unique voice and piano only versions of songs from their latest album ‘Start Over’ (Available on Amazon.co.uk now). During the show Humphrey, Stephen and Ollie will present a number of songs including ‘Make You Feel My love’ written by Bob Dylan and popularised more recently by Adele, and the little known Paul McCartney song ‘Beautiful Night’, both using only harmony voice and piano. They’ll also talk with Sir Terry Wogan about their journey as a group over the last 6 years and what the next 6 years of Blake have in store. Don’t miss this very special programme which promises to be Blake’s most intriguing one yet! The show is available to ‘listen-again’ on the official BBC website.

BBC Radio 2 has been playing tracks from Blake’s latest CD  ‘Start Over’ on many of it’s popular radio shows, including Aled Jones, Anneke Rice, Paul O’Grady and Sir Terry Wogan, building anticipation for the groups much anticipated 4th album.
